How-to Toolkits
ITM's "How-to" toolkits span 3 key areas, Meetings & Events, Global Travel Programmes and the Fundamentals of Travel (for SME & New Entrants).
Each of the zones and their tools are described as follows:
Fundamentals of Travel - Where do you go to find a comprehensive toolkit giving you everything you need to understand if you are new to travel. Look no further. Created by ITM's SME ( Small to Medium Enterprise) and New Entrant working party (create link to SMENE working party), this toolkit is designed to give you guidance on contracting suppliers, drafting policy, creating an RFP, Self-booking tools and even a glossary of commonly used terms. It's the place to go if you have just started in travel or run a small programme and wish to benefit from some ITM guidance.
Meetings & Events Toolkit - This toolkit was designed by ITM's specialist Meetings & Events working party (create link to MEET working party) and in collaboration with specialist Meetings & Events associations. The toolkit acts as a guide to those who either buy or manage meetings, incentives, conferences or events (MICE) in today's market. Spanning "Defining your company objectives" to policy and engaging stakeholders, the toolkit is designed to assist every level of manager, from those new to managing MICE to more experienced practitioners.
Global Travel Programmes - Designed by ITM's "GLOCAL" working party (create link to GLOCAL in working parties), this area of the site is crafted to provide global knowledge locally (hence our GLOCAL term). Does a truly global programme exist? What supply sectors translate into global success relatively easily and which are non-starters? The information zone is designed to provide you with everything you need to manage an effective trans-national travel and meetings programme.
