Leonard Mattison is Travel Manager and Sustainability Lead at Barclays. He joined Barclays just over 18years ago and has spent the last 3 years leading several areas within the Travel function. Having gained experience across various roles/divisions within the Bank, Leonard found his calling in the Travel function and industry. Leonard is dedicated to deliver service excellence and continuous technology developments for his client base to deliver a seamless travel experience, underpinned by a relentless focus on inclusivity, safety and duty of care for every traveller. Leonard also holds responsibility for leading the Travel Functions ESG agenda which requires him to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders from senior leadership to employee relationship groups. His focus is to ensure that travel is enabled for everyone and that all travel is planned and executed responsibly. He is extremely passionate about removing barriers that some travellers face whilst on business and in driving traveller understanding on how they can minimise their travel emissions, via reporting and behavioural change, to make a better future for us all. Leonard lives in Northamptonshire with his partner and 3 children. He is an avid sports fan, and most of his free time is taken up either taking the children to, or watching sports. Living in the countryside he has the benefit of beautiful forests and walks locally
