Scott Davies
Chief Executive Officer | ITM
[10:00 AM - 10:15 AM]
Join Scott Davies and Alison Rogan as they reflect on 2022 before swiftly changing their focus to the year ahead and how, as a community and industry, we can work collaboratively to strengthen programmes, partnerships and our industry’s attractiveness.
During this session we hear from ITMs Chair, Alison Rogan, and a panel of expert Travel Managers as they review the buyer priority survey results and delve into some of the standout statistics. They will also discuss their views on the priorities for 2023, what’s driving them and what they expect will be there focus in 2023.
As business travel continues to rebound what can we truly expect of the airport experience in 2023 and beyond. Are security lines and 3-hour check-in requirements the new norm, or is there light at the end of the long pandemic tunnel.
Dan Beauchamp will identify some of the key trends and challenges that will impact travel in 2023 and ask how travel buyers and managers can respond. Against the background of economic uncertainty, shifting work patterns, new and accelerating corporate priorities, and changing traveller expectations, what do travel managers need to do to support their travellers and enable their organisations. By taking the initiative on these critical issues, travel managers have an opportunity to grow their role and influence among their peers.
Following the morning break, delegates will work together in small groups to discuss the results and share back what stands out for them. Identifying tangible actions that buyers could take, alongside their supplier partners, to address and/or support some of the priorities or challenges.
During this session TRIPBAM will look at projected airfare and hotel pricing for the next 6 months and what it means for your travel programme.
Hear from some of the leading suppliers and thought leaders in the Ground Transportation space around the current challenges and future trends of the industry.
Talent is hard to come by and even harder to attract when an industry loses its lustre. How do we make travel a reason people want to work for an organisation, or indeed join the travel industry itself? We’ll share key findings from a GBTA Europe workshop on this existential issue – including how D&I, modern technologies, traveller well-being, and sustainability can support a fundamental shift in perception.
