From Abu Dhabi to the world

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, started operations in November 2003 and has been one of the world’s fastest growing airlines. While our main business is flying passengers internationally, we also operate Etihad Cargo, Etihad Holidays, Etihad Engineering and Etihad Airport Services, as well as managing a global loyalty programme and other aviation and non-aviation related businesses.

Our network

Etihad Airways offers three daily departures from London Heathrow, twice daily from Manchester and Dublin to over 100 passenger and cargo destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and North America via Abu Dhabi. We have over 50 codeshare partners, building a network that offers access to over 400 international destinations in just one booking.

Our home Abu Dhabi

Due to its convenient geographic location, the UAE’s capital city is a perfect gateway to the Middle East and the rest of the world. Abu Dhabi is blessed by year-round sunshine and boasts more than 700km of coastline with pristine beaches, over 200 islands, and lush mangrove forests.

Our Fleet

We have a fleet of over 120 Airbus and Boeing aircraft, and more aircraft on firm order, including Boeing 787 Dreamliners, Boeing 777-X, and Airbus A350s. Our Airbus A380s and 787 Dreamliners – both state-of-the-art aircraft, offer new standards in cabin interiors, together with fuel efficiency and environmental improvements.
